Question:

I have a 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid with all wheel drive. Im looking to have a trailer hitch installed, and was curious if the 1-1/4inch hitch that is sold for the Corolla on your site will work. I saw a note about it not being intended for AWD models. Is this because it doesnt fit? Is it due to the car not being rated to tow with the AWD system? Thanks.

The information about the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C34UR not intended to fit the all wheel drive version of your 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid comes from Curt. We have not tested this fit in our shop since Curt says it is not intended to fit so they have either ran into fitment issues or Toyota does not allow any receiver to be mounted no matter if you are towing or looking to carry a hitch mounted accessory. Since they have this note I do not recommend using it on your Corolla since any issues could void your manufacturer warranty since Curt specifically says it is not intended for the AWD vehicles.

Instead you may need to consider something like a Trunk Mounted Bike Rack # Y02634 or a Roof Rack which would consist of the Bars # TH711420, Feet # TH710501 and a Fit Kit # TH145209.
