We can definitely help get your 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ set up to flat tow. Personally, I prefer our etrailer brand tow bars and base plates. They are made by Demco, so you know you are getting a solid U.S made product. You can use a universal Diode kit for your wiring. For a braking system I suggest the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play Duo. The parts list below will include everything you will need:

Please note that the tow bar should be level when towing. Anything within 3" of level is considered safe to tow. The tow bar itself does give your 3" of height adjustment. For anything beyond that, you may need a drop hitch like the Blue Ox # BLU28XR to compensate for any height differences between the base plate and the hitch receiver on your Motorhome. The base plate arms should be about 16-3/4" from the ground when installed.

It is also worth mentioning that the Demco Supplemental Braking System I mentioned will be permanently installed on the vehicle. You do have the option of going with a portable system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. The main advanced of this is less initial install time, and the unit can easily be transferred to a different vehicle if needed. Ultimately it comes down to your preference. If you plat to tow frequently, I suggest sticking with the Demco Braking System.
