How Does the Hopkins Wiring Kit and The Tekonsha T-One Harness Install Together

Question:
I am still trying to clarify how the flat tow harness and an existing trailer tow harness on the drivers side tail light would hook up. Is this correct? One connector from each harness flat tow and trailer tow connect to the wire running to the tail light connector and the tail light itself. The remaining connectors from both harnesses connect to each other. I cant see any other way to do it. Thank you!
