Does the hydra star brake actuator work with Ram trucks?

Expert Reply:
Currently we have not had any issues with compatibility between the Hydrastar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator # CAR-HBA16-2 and the factory integrated trailer brake controller on Ram trucks. While we have not tested these on new Ram trucks if there are issues you can simply add the Adapter Module # HBA-CAM which eliminates the brake issues. I typically recommend just having the module installed on the trailer so if for some reason the trailer would need to be towed by a different truck the brakes will still operate correctly.
