To add a hitch to your 2024 Ford Maverick, I recommend the Curt item # C84BR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Maverick with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight.

I really like the Curt item # C84BR hitch because it mounts behind your rear bumper and the receiver sticks out the hole in the middle. This makes it easily accessible while also keeping it out of the way and not affecting your ground clearance.
