Parts Needed to Add Brake Controller to 2024 Lexus RX 350

Question:

I'm looking at this Curt hitch and 4 way for my 2024 Lexus RX 350. I want to add a brake controller. What else do I need to accomplish this? Thank you.

In addition to the Curt # C29VV and # C59236 for your 2024 Lexus RX 350 you will need a 7-way and the brake controller. I recommend the following:

-Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7

-Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller - Dash Knob - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # RED24FR

Once you get your 4-way installed the # ETBC7 will allow you to upgrade it to a 7-way. This comes with the wiring, adapter, breakers, and everything else you need to complete the installation. From there, you will be able to install the REdarc Tow-Pro Liberty. This is a reliable brake controller that also looks great in your vehicle. The main unit goes behind the dash so only the control knob will be visible. The # RED69FR wiring harness will also be required.

If you don't already have a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
