Question:
Im trying to purchase the hitch and all necessary accessories to tow a 3000 lb trailer with electric brakes with a 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness. Can you help me determine the parts needed for the install? Im intending to go to an approved installer for the installation. Thanks!

First thing you'll need is a hitch like the Curt part # C12184 that is a confirmed fit. This is a 2 inch hitch with plenty of capacity that has a mostly hidden design. Then for trailer wiring you would need to start with the part # C56040 which is the easiest install.
To convert to a 7-way so that you can install a brake controller you would also need the kit part # ETBC7 with a brake controller like the Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR.
