Can I Run The Dometic RV Water Heater DMC74FR On Electric Only?

I am replacing a 6-gallon gas-only water heater on a Salem FSX 260RT. I am looking at getting this one, which is gas and electric. Can I run this one on electric only? If so, I know it will take longer to heat. What amperage fuse would I use if I were to run it electric only while at an established RV park where I dont want to consume propane constantly?

While technically it can be done, it is not recommended to run the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR on electric only. Without gas it will still produce hot water, but will take much longer to heat. You will need to have both gas and 120v in order to get the full 12 gallons of hot water per hour.
