Question:

I am looking for a tow bar, and base plate to flat tow a 2005 jeep with stock bumper. I use the jeep offroad so I dont want something that mounts below the bumper. Is there other options?

Yes, there is if you are willing to drill into the stock bumper on your 2005 Jeep TJ or Wrangler. You will want to use the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit item # DM9518112. These bolt directly into the stock bumper using four 1/2" bolts.

For a tow bar you will want to use the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e34ZR. This tow bar is made by Demco so it is compatible with the item # DM9518112 base plate without having to use an adapter. It has a 6,000 lbs capacity and includes built in safety chains.
