Question:
C55265 is a wiring harness that your website says is not a direct fit for my 07 ford edge. While I cant be certain this will fit, it certainly looks like it would. I have a single factory trailer connection near the rear bumper behind the fascia. I cant see how your multi-legged harness is what I need. Please help me understand what I may be missing.

Expert Reply:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56329 tees in behind the tail lights on your 2007 Ford Edge and then pulls power directly from your vehicle battery (via the included lead) so you don't overdraw the circuits on your vehicle when you have a trailer hooked up.
The Curt T-Connector # C55265 you referenced is only confirmed to fit a 2002 - 2004 Ford F-250/F-350 with a factory 4-Flat connector. It has never been confirmed to fit a Ford Edge so if you decided to still go with this wiring connector I don't see a way that it would fit.
