The best hitch for a 2024 Mazda 3 Hatchback is going to be the Curt item # C98BR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Mazda with included hardware. This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
