Can Thumb Latch # 37200115 Fit 1/2 inch Diameter Hole

Question:
I see this is for a oval hole Kind of but what is the size of the two flat sides and also the length of the threaded part, the hole i am trying to fit to is 1/2 wide x 3/4 long

The part # 37200115 can work for you since the threaded section is long enough to fit through your door but you will need to enlarge the hole since this is larger in diameter by 1/4 inch.
