Question:
you mentioned that the shank is too high for the doors of the Winnebago Travato K to open. I had this issue with my stand-alone bike rack and had to do an extender. I was told that your cant use and extender with this system because of the weight of the combination cargo and bike rack that you start to torque the frame of the Van if you use the extender for this system. It has to do with the distance of the end or the hitch and the axel. If more than 5 feet. The distance in the Travao K ram pro-master frame is approximately 56 inches axel to end of hitch. Also the hole in the hitch of the Travato is 2.5 inches in my bike rack hole was 2.0 inches and they were not compatible until I got the extender. I could probably deal with the shank and door issue, but what is the depth of the hole in the rack. 2 inches or 2.5 inches? Thanks in advance for your help

The hitch pin hole on the Yakima EXO Swing Away 2 Bike Rack w/ Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y34ZR to the closest part of the rack is 5 1/2.
Basically, if you have a standard 2" receiver on your Winnebago then this'll work fine, if t's recessed then you'd need an extender or use a rear door bike rack like the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Ram ProMaster Rear Door # TH302013.
