Question:
I have a lighter weight travel trailer, it a bullet premier 19fbpr. It uses Dexter 3500 dual axles with the 13-104 equalizer. What are my choices to upgrade the 13-104 equalizer? Thank you

I can definitely point you in the right direction. When replacing an equalizer it is important that we keep the size as close to the stock equalizer as possible. The 13-104 equalizer that you have now is 5-3/4" long center hole to center hole, and it is 2" tall.
A great upgrade for that will be the Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-652-00, since the equalizer size will be identical to the 13-104. The E-Z Flex uses a cushioned rubber core to absorb shock and reduce chucking. This kit also comes with heavy duty shackles, bronze bushings and wet bolts. The HD shackles are 1/2" thick and will be extremely durable. With proper care/maintenance, the wet bolts will last a very long time, and will make your suspension move much more smoothly. It will be a very nice upgrade from the stock suspension.
It is important to note that this kit comes with the 2-1/4" long shackle links (measured center hole to center hole). Based on your equalizer size, you should have this size shackles on your trailer currently. I do suggest measuring to confirm this prior to ordering. We do have other shackle sizes available if needed.
