Question:

Which drawbar should I get to go with a Curt hitch on a 2018 Hyundai Sonata? I expect to tow a Harbor Freight trailer and a canoe trailer.

The ball mount you get to pair with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11402 on your 2018 Hyundai Sonata ultimately depends on the height of the trailer coupler that you're towing. A general rule of thumb is that smaller trailers will have a coupler height of about 14" - 16" and when we installed this hitch on a 2018 Sonata (see attached video) we found the hitch height to be 10-1/2" which means we need a minimum rise of 3-1/2" to be in that range.

For your application I recommend checking our the Draw-Tite Drawbar # 3594 which has a ride of 4" and can be paired with a 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40001 or 2" Hitch Ball # 19258 depending on the size of your trailer couplers.

Please note you also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56390 and I recommend the mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18140 so the 4-Way connector is easily accessible.
