Troubleshooting A Non-Working Ultra-Fab Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack
Updated 09/18/2023 | Published 09/17/2023 >
Question:
I bought my Phoenix 4000 Electric Jack last year and today it just stopped Working : I have battery power, the RV is plugged in, however, the jack will not go up or down. I check the connections to the batter to see if anything wiggled loose, all is in place. Because of the quality of the jack, I just dont believe it has gone bad. Ive only used it 3 times since installed last year.

If your Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack # UF38-944040 has power but isn't extending/retracting and the light isn't working then your in-line fuse has most likely blown. If you look at the attached video below around 9:30 minute mark Conner will show you the included fuse holder. You'll want to unscrew the cap on the fuse holder and check that the wire inside the fuse isn't blown apart. You can pick up replacement 30 amp slow blow fuses at your local hardware store.
