Should I be using a Hydraulic Oil Additive / Conditioner in my Lippert self leveling, hydraulic system? 2017 Voltage 3005

Lippert does not recommend the use of any hydraulic oil additives with their hydraulic leveling systems. They recommend using automatic transmission fluid Dexron III or Mercon 5 fluid.
