Question:
I have recently bought a 2023 Ford F150 XLT. I would like to put my Curt 31083 Front Mount Hitch from my old 2015 XL. I was told it would fit. Are ther any issues I should be aware of before installing it? Thanks

When it comes to installing the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31083 on your 2023 Ford F-150 just keep in mind that you need new mounting hardware, found as part # RHK, since hitch hardware is only designed to be torqued down once.
As far as fitment goes, Curt hasn't officially given the thumbs up for this hitch to fit your vehicle but since the Draw-Tite alternative, part # 65067, will fit up to a 2023 F-150 you shouldn't have any problems with it mounting up to your vehicle. Just be mindful that the automatic air dam might need to be removed in order to install this front hitch.
