Can ST205/75R15 Tires Replace 215/75R15 Tires on Utility Trailer

Question:
I have a 5x10 utility trailer that my parents had and for some reason it has P215 70R 15 car tires on it. Could I fit a ST205 75R 15 tire on the steel wheels thats on it? Or having a 70R tire too wide for the 75?

Moving to the Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10245 won't be a problem for your trailer. Your typical 215/70R15 tire is going to have a diameter of 26.9" and section width of 8.5". The Karrier tire has a width of 8.1" and an outer diameter of 27.3". This means you will actually gain a little clearance on the inside of the tire and lose .2" of clearance on top of the tire which won't be enough to make a difference.
