What Sidewinder Pin Box Fits a 2024 Sabre 38RLH and Compatible Hitch For 2023 Ram 2500 Factory Prep?

I recently purchased a Forest River Sabre 38RLH, I am towing with a Ram 2500 w/ Rambox’s and Ram 5th wheel prep kit. UVW: 12k Max Load: 14.5k What weight rating hitch do I need? I’ve looked at the Curt A16 and a couple of 20k options. But I don’t know if 20 is overkill. What weight rating Reese sidewinder do I need? 16/20? Is the sidewinder compatible with the Sabre mount , and is it compatible with all hitches?

Thank you for providing the image with your frame information. I was able to confirm you do have the standard 1621 pin box bolt pattern on your 2024 Forest River Sabre 38RLH. This means you will need Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin # RP34FR which is a 20K pin box. Reese no longer offers the 16K version of this.
For the 5th wheel hitch for your 2023 Ram 2500 I recommend using the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3600. The B&W is made in the USA and has a great reputation for quality and longevity. This hitch will drop into the mounts on your Ram since you have the 5th wheel prep package and connects to the Sidewinder pin box with the Wedge # SWW-06. Since the hitch is designed to last a lifetime you will be able to use it on any Ram with the factory prep mounts so you can take it to a new Ram truck in the future.
The Curt A16 # C16520-16021 along with their other A-series and Q-series hitches are not compatible with the Sidewinder pin box. Please let me know if you have any other questions pertaining to other hitch options.
