Can The Trailer Valet JXC Trailer Jack # TV54FR Be Mounted With The Crank Facing Forward On Trailer?
Published 08/18/2023 >
Question:
Can this be mounted with the handle on the front of the jack instead of the side? I have a 2008 Trailmanor 2720SL and the SL is a sofa section which slides out in the front, over the 2 horizontal LP tanks and butts up against the jack. A side-crank wouldnt work if i had to make any small height adjustments after the trailer is opened up. Currently, I can manage with the top-mount by working in half-turns, flipping the handle over after every half. Annoying but workable. Though I would likely be using the drill option 99 of the time, if that drill battery dies and I need to use the hand crank, I will need to have the handle facing the front. I just dont know if the hole arrangements on that mounting plate will allow for that.

Yes, the Trailer Valet JXC Trailer Jack # TV54FR can be mounted with the crank handle off the front. This jack has a round mounting plate with multiple hole locations allowing for a forward or side facing.
