Base Plate Kit Recommendation for 2023 Ford Maverick with Blue Ox Tow Bar

Question:
What other Items do i need to flat tow a 2023 Ford Maverick. From previously towing other vehicles, I have a Blue Ox Patriot 2010 and Blue Ox Aladdin Tow bar, but i do not like the way the Blue Ox BX2690 base plate looks on the Mav. What other considerations do i need? What advantages, if any, does the RM37RR have over the RM97RR? thank you.

For you I would recommend sticking with the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BLU88XR that fits your 2023 Ford Maverick. Mainly because you already have a Blue Ox tow bar which means you would not need to use any adapters but also because in general the Blue Ox base plate kits are easier to use so I like them better.
