Recommended RV Steps For A 2015 Lance Trailer With A 25-1/2" Mounting Bracket Spacing

Question:

I just bought Lippert Step # LC432687 and find that they are 2 wider than the bracket spacing on my 2015 Lance trailer. The brackets were factory installed and will be very hard to relocate. Is there an adapter to fit, or another model of stair that I dont see which would match the 25 1/2 space between brackets? Thank you

We do carry adapters # LC301704, but with yours new steps sitting further out you might have some issues with the crossbeam of the step hitting the current mounting brackets. If you wanted to make it work you could cut of the older brackets and use the # LC301704 to mount the new steps.

If you'd rather just get ones to mount to the current brackets then we do have a few other options available. For Lippert we have part # LC432682, which are designed for a 21-1/2" - 24-1/2" entry height. From TorkLift we have a a few different options like part # TLA8102 (18-1/2" - 28" entry height) or part # TLA8103 (25-1/2" - 36" entry height). These steps also come with adjustable feet to provide a much more stable base when walking up or down the steps.
