Recommended 3-Step RV Steps for 27" Wide Mounting Bracket

Question:
My opening on the bracket for my steps is 27”. Is says the steps will fit a 27-1/2” opening, how much leeway do I have. I’m looking at the alumi pull out steps 3 steps unit. Thanks

The best option we have for a 27" wide mounting bracket is the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs part # SMFP-3200L which has a 27-1/4" wide bracket. It will be a tight fit but there should be some extra space to allow for the slightly bigger steps.
If you wish to go with a wider step bracket you would need to modify/move the outrigger brackets on the trailer.
