Recommended Supplemental Braking System for a 2021 Chevy Equinox Towed by an RV w/ Air Brakes

Question:

I have a 07 HR Neptune XL motor Home and a 21 Chevy equinox. I looking for the correct braking system for flat towing. The RV has air brakes. Thanks.

Since your 2007 HR Neptune XL motorhome has air brakes you will want to use the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System item # SM99243 with your 2021 Chevy Equinox. This system has been specifically designed to work with RVs equipped with air brakes like yours. This a proportional braking system that will stop with the same force that you are using to slow or stop your RV.

The Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit item # SM99209 you were looking at won't work on your motorhome unless you already have a Air Force One item # SM99243 installed.
