How Far Does The Lippert SolidStep LC791572 Fold Out From The Door?

Hope to buy Lippert SolidStep RV Steps for 25 to 28-7/8 Wide Doorways - 3 Steps Item # LC791572. My garage space is tight side to side. How far from the door will these steps fold out? My fold-out 3-step clears fine.

To open the Lippert solid step # LC791572 it does have to pivot all the way out and down. So if you had the legs fully retracted, it would stick straight out about 44" from the door. This would be with the step sticking straight out 90 degrees from the door. The distance can vary when the step is folded down, depending on our angle. It can be a bit tricky to fold down with limited space, but if you have about 44" or 45" or more to work with it could be done.
