Question:
Could you please tell me what 2 hitch will work with a 2023 Ascent?

For a 2" hitch you will want to use the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13400. This hitch is custom fit for the 2023 Subaru Ascent. It bolts to your Subaru with included hardware and does not require any welding or drilling.
This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 675 lbs maximum tongue weight. I have linked an installation video below so you can see the process for getting this hitch installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
