Question:
I need replacement leaf springs. I believe this used to be an old trailer for a jet ski but I’m not sure. Currently, I have slipper springs, 4 springs on each side. The total length from center of eye bolt to end of spring is 32-1/4 in long. From center of eye bolt, along the spring to the center of the spring center bolt is 14”. From the center of the spring bolt to the end of the flat part on the slipper end is 19-1/4 inches long. The springs are 1-3/4” wide, center of eye bolt to end of spring is 32-1/4” the spring height is about 3-1/4” from the top of the spring. I would like the springs to be rated as close to 3500 lbs for the axle as possible. There is no tag on the axle so I am not sure what it is rated for. They are five lug wheels. The axle diameter is 1-3/4” if that helps. What springs do I need?

The longest 1-3/4" wide slipper spring we carry is 30" from the center eye hole to end of the flat slipper end. We have springs for 1,800lb # e29SR, 2,900lb # e49SR and 3,700lb # e89SR axles. With your axle diameter being 1-3/4" in diameter it likely is only a 2,000lb axle.
All the springs above have a 15" length from center of eye to center of spring pack along the curve. The center of spring to end of spring along the curve is only 17-3/4". If this will not fit your application you may be able to find another spring elsewhere otherwise you may consider switching to the Timbren Suspension # TSR4000T02. This uses a rubber spring suspension which bolts to the trailer frame.
