Moving Jumper Over on Progressive Dynamics to Convert to Lithium Profile
Updated 04/15/2025 | Published 07/27/2023 >
Question:
Hi, we have a PD4060K converter and we are upgrading to LiFePO batteries. The manual shows a LA lead acid/LI lithium switch. However, ours has a jumper as in the attached photo. Does the jumper need to be moved? Do we need a new converter?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you do need to move the jumper over from the lead acid to the lithium setup and you'd have the higher voltage charging profile.

I was also looking for this info. This is great! One other question, what mode should the blue button be in that controls the green blinking light? Thankyou

I’ve been looking for this information for days!!!! Thanks James for posting this info. Etrailer is awesome. Hoping you can provide a little bit more clarity before I move the jumper to the LI side for lithium batteries. I have the same black square jumper. It looks like it is on the left side (lead acid) currently. It is covering 2/3 of the pins and on the LI side there is only one open pin. When you move the black jumper to the LI, it looks like it will still cover the middle pin, correct? Meaning the lead acid side is 2/3 on the left and also when I move to the LI, it will cover the right side 2/3. Lead acid and lithium jumpers both cover the middle, correct? THANK YOU!!!
