Question:
I have a 2014 Ram 2500 and a 2008 Airstream with EOH breaks. The EOM controller says trailer not connected when its connected. I would like use the EOM controller instead of purchasing an aftermarket controller. Will the DX35FR work with my setup?

Supposedly the Ram OEM controllers are supposed to be compatible with EOH braking systems but as you've experienced this isn't always the case (be sure to check that there isn't a setting that needs to be changed on the OEM controller).
You'll need the Adapter Module # DX35FR if your trailer is using the Dexter Axle BrakeRite system, or the Adapter Module # HBA-CAM if your trailer has the Hydrastar instead.
If you have a different brand EOH system then I recommend replacing your OEM brake controller with the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and Wiring Adapter # 3023-P, but you might need to have a dealer flash the computer system to get the system to read the new brake controller.
