Can you tell me the distance from the top of the hitch to the top of the single tray MHS rack when it is folded up vertically with no bikes on? I am trying to determine if the rack will obscure my parking assist sensors.

The highest part of the Saris MHS Bike Rack for 1 Bike # SAR23MR when folded is the handle of the Saris MHS Platform Rack Base # SAR38MR.
From the center of the hitch pin hole on your hitch to the top of the Saris MHS Platform Rack Base # SAR38MR is 22". The top of the bike tray would just be a few inches below that height.
