How many bolts are supposes to be used to attach the adapter to the fifth wheel?

Expert Reply:
You will use 4 grade 8 bolts (included) to attach the Ranch Hitch # AM3139 to the trailer pin box. There are 8 holes in the base of the Ranch Hitch but you will only use the 4 best located holes for your trailer. The adapter is also threaded onto a special piece that fits around the trailer king pin so it is held on to the trailer in more than 1 way for additional security.
