Tips For Removing Anti-Rattle Knob In Thule EasyFold XT That Won't Engage When Unlocked

Question:

The anti rattle knob turns after unlocking but nothing happens. Any tricks? This also happened to the clamp to the bike but with my husband trying to pull apart at the same time I was turning it finally started to loosen. I need to get this out of our hitch. Any suggestions?

I would try to have your husband rock the bike rack up and down while you try to turn the anti-rattle knob of the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202.

I'd also try to lock/unlock the knob a handful of times just to make sure the knob is actually unlocked so it can engage the anti-rattle part.

Try these two things and if you still have an issue getting it out let me know.
