Will The TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box part # TLA7708R mount to the tongue if it wont fit in the tray rails?

Yes, the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7708R can easily be mounted to the tongue of your trailer using some self-tapping screws. If the existing holes in the bottom of the box line up with the tongue you can use them or just use the self-tappers to cut through the box and into the tongue.
In the attached video below you can see how Dave mounted the box on the tongue of the trailer he was working on.
