Question:
I bought the skull hitch cover with LED eyes several years ago for my wife’s 2013 Ford Edge and it worked great! My wife has since updated her vehicle to a 2022 Ford Edge ST. The skull cover looks great on it but… We keep getting error codes on the dash when the skull Cover is plugged into the trailer wiring. Is there a fix for this?

The reason for the error is the LED in the hitch cover. This has a very low power draw which causes errors in vehicles like your 2022 Ford Edge ST. The only way to fix it is to wire in an aftermarket 4-way like the # HM48030 to bypass the system or add load resistors like # DI34ZR to your stop/turn wires on your 4-way.
