Hello, Looking to purchase Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner and dont see the unit fir Dometic replacement. Can I just purchase the unit and purchase the wire kit to adapt to the Dometic? Looking to replace front ac in my XLR. Can you help me on what I should purchase?

To replace your Dometic unit you'll first want to remove the cover for your air distribution box and look for the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop unit and plugs into the controller. This wire harness will have either a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below). If you have a 9-pin connector then you'll need an adapter like the one included with the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR62PV. If you have a 6-pin connector you could just use the standard unit without the adapter # FR76PR.
These units are have a 13,500btu rating, if you have a 15,000btu unit currently or would like to upgrade then you would want part # FR86PR (no adapter) or part # FR32PV (adapter included).
