Can Ark XO Trailer Jack be Stowed in Vertical Position

Question:

Can the Ark XO trailer jack be stowed in the vertical position while traveling? If so, does the wheels still lock to keep from “free spinning “. I have a cargo basket that takes up a lot of tongue space. May be able to somehow mount lower on the frame so the jack can lock under the basket? Thanks for your help!

Technically you could stow the Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Jack # ORJW500D in the vertical position if you really wanted to, and yes the wheels will still lock, though clearance would likely be an issue if stowed that way. If at all possible and you can move the cargo basket or just flip the jack up and turn the wheels downwards on the # ORJW500D while traveling that would be ideal.
