Adapter Hose Needed To Connect A Weber Q1200 To A Cast Products Female QD Fitting

Question:
Hello. I have a question about the compatibility of your MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose Model 250 Quick-Disconnect x Disposable Cylinder Port, 10 length, product ID 100476-120-MBS. I have a 2023 Roadtrek RV that has an external connection for a propane grill that has a Cast Products female 829001 connector on it standard for all Roadtrek RVs. The male fitting thats needed to work with it is a Cast Products 829000. Do you if the male fitting on your 100476-120-MBS hose is the same as the Cast Products 829000 male fitting? As does the other end of that hose simply screw on to the 1 lb. propane fitting of the portable grill Weber Q1200 in this case? Thank you.

From what I can find the Cast Products female quick disconnect fitting would be compatible with the 1/4" male QD fitting on the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100476-120-MBS. The female 1"-20 fitting on the other end of the hose is the same type of fitting that would be on the small 1lb propane bottles and would be compatible with your Weber Q1200 as long as it has a male 1"-20 fitting.

I have a similar question that Robert B asked in May of 23. I have a 2022 Roadtrek Play with the Cast Product female 829001 quick connect installed at the built-in propane tank under the van typically for use with BBQ grills connected to the tank. My manual specifically states the “external BBQ connection requires a special fitting called a Cast Products male 83900”. My quest is not to connect a BBQ grill but to connect a WEN DF360iX dual fuel generator to the propane system to fuel the generator. Do you have a hose that can make the connection?
