Question:
Looking for a recommendation on a brake controller for a 19 Chevrolet Colorado w/tow package. Will be towing under 3500 lbs. I have no experience towing and require ease of use and install.

The easiest brake controller we have to install is the Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR because you disconnect the US CAR connector at the back of the 7-Way plug on your 2019 Chevy Colorado and then tee this wiring in and secure the box unit up under your truck. Then you just have to download the app and adjust your settings that way! I like this controller because it stays on your truck but is out of sight so it's there when you need it but it keeps your cab free from any kind of wiring or modifications.
We do have some alternative options that are more cost-effective if that's the route you prefer. Out of those I recommend the tried and true Prodigy P3 # 90195 which will need to be spliced to existing wiring under your dash. You will need to connect the following wires from the P3 harness to the corresponding ones under your dash:
Black - Red/Green
White - Black
Red - White/Blue
Blue - Blue
The only bad part of having this controller is that it takes up some leg room as you want it installed out of the way but within arms reach as well.
Attached are review videos on both options for you to check out!
