Question:

On the #DU84GR Chain Link the stamped WLL is 8.2T - 16,400lbs right? not 18,100lb per description Thanks

I was able to verify the Durabilt Hammerlock Coupling Link for 5/8" Chain # DU84GR does have the 8.2T stamped on the link for the WLL. This measurement is give in metric tons which is 2,205lbs per ton. This is the reason you see the 18,100lb rating for this.

Bud, Can you verify if the DU84GR chain link fits in the GM class 5 receiver safety chain box? I have seen the comments noting how the 18K 5/8” chain link fits in the Ford Superduty safety chain box. The chain box on my 2017 Chevrolet 2500HD is a box type and not all chain hooks have enough gap (inside width) to engage through two windows in the box. The DU84GR has the capacity needed for the 13,000 pound trailer I will be pulling. Do they fit in the safety chain box?
