I know how to connect the wiring to the 7point adapter but where do I connect it to the vehicle

If you had the 7-way wiring connector on your 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee to install the wiring harness part # 20135 the connector would be under the rear of the vehicle near the rear bumper.
It would be a square connector typically found right behind the bumper.
