Question:
I have a Can Am Spyder wired to tow a trailer with a flat 5-pin connection. I just bought a Roll-A-Home camping trailer that came equipped with electric brakes and a Tekonsha electric brake controller mounted in the trailer. The trailer has a standard flat 5-pin connection with an additional flat 2-pin connection for the brake controller. I have attached pictures. How do I connect the two?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Most likely the additional 2 wires are a power and ground supply for your trailer. I recommend verifying all the wiring connections for both your Can Am Spyder and the Roll-a-Home trailer on the 5-way circuit to verify they are identical functions. With the 2 additional prongs running to the Junction Box # 3375601100 you should be able to remove the cover and follow the wires to verify they do go to the Brake Controller # 90195.
If this is what you have you will need the Adapter # MA69BR to connect to the battery on your Spyder and then an Extension # MA96DR to run back to your trailer connectors.
