What is Range of Wireless Coachlink of Demco Air Force One Braking System
Published 05/03/2023 >
Question:
Hi: I am considering the purchase of a Demco AirForce One SBS for my motorhome. The choices are one with a wireless Coachlink transmitter or one with a wired LED status mounted somewhere in view of the rear mounted camera on the coach. The TPMS sensors operate at 453MHz, and there is a booster on the rear of the coach for that system. The wireless CoachLink works at 900 MHz. The motorhome is 40 long. The questions are: 1. What is the range of the Coachlink transmitter, and 2. Will either the Coachlink transmitter or the TPMS sensor/transmitters interfere with one another?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The wireless Coachlink range that comes with the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink # DM26VR is 1/2 mile unobstructed. Since it is on a different frequency it would easily not interfere with your TPMS.
