Replacement Jack for a RAM 3.5K Trailer Jack That Won't Go Up or Down

Question:

the trailer jack EJ-3520-bbx looks like the jack I have on a 2017 Vibe Extreme Lite. The only documentation I have on my present jack is a reference to a model number FIC-3500 and the words RAM on the housing.My current situation is I believe the up/down switch is bad. I can lower the jack but not raise it electrically. Can move in any direction with the manual crank. Can you verify that your jack is the same as mine? if so then I will be getting a switch from etrailer. Thanks

Yes, the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX you were looking at is the exact replacement for your RAM 3.5K Electric Jack, however before you go replacing it I recommend checking on a couple of things first.

The first thing you should check is your wire connections. A loose or broken wire may easily be the culprit as to why your jack is not working so I recommend checking all of your connections for damage or corrosion, including your grounds.

The last thing you'd want to check is your battery. If your battery is not giving enough voltage to the jack that could also cause it not to work. If you can't check the battery's voltage yourself, most places like Autozone will do free battery checks so I'd recommend having them test it.
