Will the Replacement Gear for Lippert Single and Double Electric Coach Step Fit a Triple Step

In the QandA section it is stated this will fit the 3 step unit Does the whole step assembly need to be removed to replace the LC301696 on the 3 step unit? Thanks

The Replacement Gear for Lippert Single and Double Electric Coach Step part # LC301696 is for single and double steps only, if you are looking for the triple step gear then that's the Replacement Gear for Lippert Triple Electric Coach Step part 164348 which we no longer offer.
In regards to installation, there isn't a write-up for this but it should be pretty straight forward once you extend the steps to reveal the motor and gears.
