Question:
I have a boat trailer that currently has 215/75/r14 tires and 5x 4.5 bolt pattern wheels on it. I am interested in a wheel size increase to 15” or 16 “ is there a good wheel tire size combo that is relatively close to the same overall size? Looking for a black aluminum wheel

Sure thing, you can go from a 215/75R14 tire on your boat trailer to a 15 inch wheel in black. A 215/75R14 tire measures 26.8" in diameter and 8.5" wide, so you can go to a 205/75R15 tire pretty easily, as it is 27.1" in diameter and 8" wide. For a black wheel what you need is the following:
- Castle Rock ST205/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Liger Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C - Black # LH89FR
The # LH89FR has a 1,820 lb capacity (per tire), 5-year warranty, and 75 mph speed rating so you can go highway speeds without issue.
