Recommended 4-Leaf Spring Replacement for a 1963 Silver Streak TT

Question:
I need to replace the leaf springs on a 1963 silver streak 24 foot travel trailer. The stock leaf springs are six leafs and 26 inches Eye 2 Eye I added Dexter 3500 pound axles years ago when I restored the trailer do you recommend going back to six leaf or going to four leaf thanks for your help

I'd recommend going with the 4-leaf springs like the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e22YR. This leaf spring measures 26" from the center of the spring eye to spring eye, has a 4K capacity, and has a spring width of 1-3/4".
Going to a 4-spring setup will give you a slightly less-stiff ride which I feel is a nice upgrade to any trailer. It's also important that leaf springs are replaced in pairs to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance.
