How to Power the Viair Portable RV Air Compressor Kit

Question:
We have a Ram diesel with 2 12v batteries. How would we attach the power cables on such a set up. 1 battery and frame? If so does it make a difference which battery? Or Both batteries one on post the other battery on - post? We also have 4 - 6 V agm batteries on our trailer for solar could this be hooked up to that also?

The Viair Portable RV Air Compressor Kit item # VA39WR you were looking at can be attached to either battery on your truck or camper. As far as grounding goes if you don't want to connect the other clamp to the positive post on a battery a spot on the frame would also be a suitable ground. You will want to use the same battery if you decide to use the positive post.
