I bought the installation kit ETBC7, and my kids broke of the spring loaded flip cover on the seven way so trying to figure out best option for a replacement flip cover. Also do you guys have a favorite controller you recommend? Thank you!

Unfortunately, the lids on the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 are not available for replacement so the best solution is to replace the entire 7-way portion with the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185.
As far as recommended or favorite brake controller, I always liked the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller - Dash Knob # RED44FR.
Reason being is that this brake controller is small and out of the way, it can be installed in any orientation, and has a user controlled mode that lets you have direct control over your braking.
