Trailer Suspension Hanger Kit for Slipper Springs and 38 inch Wheelbase

With a 26 5/8” 5 leaf slipper spring with a 38” axle spacing for a 7000# axle what hanger and u bolt kit do I need to purchase. Also what diagram do I go by to get the right measurements. If I follow the diagram hanger centers it should by accurate correct. Also is the a drawing that shows what height hanger goes in what position on the frame.

Since you have a wheelbase/axle spacing of 38 inches the correct hanger kit for slipper springs would be the part # HAP-105-205-01. And then for a 7k trailer axle the u-bolt kit you'd want would be the part # APUBR-8.

I attached the diagram to use to space everything out at. I would recommend putting the center hanger of this kit in the same location as the center hanger on your old suspension hanger configuration.

There isn't a specific distance the hangers have to be for hanger kit #AP216-H238. A good place to start is 30-1/2 inches on center but you would only really know by mocking it up on the trailer before permanently installing the hangers. To…

Hey Danny, for the leaf spring the part number replacement you would need would be the part #e57SR. The u-bolt kit you'd need is the part #CE23103. Then for the equalizer replacement you'd need the part #TREQ356.
